— ‘Abdu’l-Bahá

Getting There

Getting to Fotografiska
We recommend travelling to Fotografiska by public transport or taxi, as parking in the area is very limited.
By public transport
Take the red or green metro line to Slussen. From Slussen, it is approximately a 10-minute walk to Fotografiska. Check sl.se for departures.
Visiting Stockholm
🏰 Gamla Stan
The medieval old town — cobbled lanes, the Royal Palace and cosy candle-lit cafés. Best explored on foot without a plan.
⚓ Vasa Museum
A fully preserved 17th-century warship that sank on her maiden voyage. On Djurgården, one of Stockholm’s loveliest islands.
☕ Fika
The sacred Swedish coffee-and-cinnamon-bun break. Try Vete-Katten or the food hall Östermalms Saluhall.
Good to know
- Money: Sweden uses the Swedish krona (kr / SEK) — but you'll barely see one. Cards and Apple/Google Pay are accepted everywhere, even for a single coffee, so there's no need to exchange money or bring euros.
- Weather: Mid-September afternoons in Stockholm are typically around 14–16 °C, cooling as the evening goes on.
- Getting around: The metro and buses use the SL app or a contactless card tap. Taxis and Uber work well too.
- Water: Tap water is excellent — no need to buy bottled.
Gift Registry
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift. Nothing more is expected.
If you would still like to give a gift, we've put together a small gift list for inspiration. You're also welcome to contribute towards our future together with a monetary gift, make a donation to the Bahá'í Fund in our honour, or share an experience with us—perhaps a meal, an outing, or another moment together.
